Mount Hawthorn Masterpieces Art Auction CATALOGUE

Mount Hawthorn Masterpieces, Friday 12 November, 7-10 PM.  The Art Teachers, Education Assistants, Kindy staff and students have worked hard on their creations and it’s now time for parents to get involved.

Tickets are available on QKR. $38.00 price includes your first drink and canapes throughout the evening (it also covers the expenses for producing the art, which the P&C has already donated to the school).

This event hasn’t occurred since 2016 and may well not happen again for some time. You do not want to miss out!  We’re at 75% capacity so please don’t delay in getting your tickets!

FAQ’s

How are the Pieces Auctioned?

15 pieces will be Live auctioned by a ‘Guest Auctioneer;’ at 8.00pm. 34 pieces by Silent Auction, commencing 7.00pm. You can view full details of these pieces here Mount Hawthorn Masterpieces Art Auction Catalogue

Will Cash / Eftpos be accepted?

Both Cash and Eftpos will be accepted on the night.

Will I need to pay on the night?

We ask that pieces be paid for before 10.00pm Friday 12 November (night of the event).

What about delivery?

If possible, please take your art home on the evening.  If paid for on the night we can arrange delivery (to Mount Hawthorn) for large items, on/before Friday 19 November. Please be aware that this service is at limited times during the week, regardless of your availability to receive and does not include hanging.

How do I bid on the live auction Items?

Please visit the ‘Live Auction Station’ at the event to register your details prior to 8.15pm.

What Food will be included at this event?

This is a fully catered event. Substantial finger food will be brought to you on platters throughout the night. No need to queue for food! Vegan and gluten free will be catered for.

What beverages are included?

One alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage is included as part of your ticket cost. Beer, Wine and sparkling wine will be on sale from the bar.  Please BYO your own wine glass or purchase a reusable plastic wine glass with your wine.

How can I view my child’s classroom piece, if I am unable to attend the event at 7.00pm, on 12 November?

Your child’s artwork will be on display in their classroom on the morning of Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 November during ‘Open Week’ (Week 5).

What if I can’t make the ‘Open Week’ viewing in the classrooms?

The P&C are aiming to have all pieces on display in the Undercover Area by 3.30 pm on Friday 12 November.

**Please be aware that this is also the time in which the main event will be set up and parents and children will be asked to leave the venue by 4.00pm.

What Entertainment will be there?

In addition to the artwork, the live auction and artistic music playlist, we will also be lucky enough to have some of the Year 5s and 6s play a few pieces on their instruments.

What other surprises will there be?

We have some ‘Perthonalities’ in the crowd and a couple of very special “cameo’ pieces that are sure to raise an eyebrow!
