The Faction Leaders were excited and proud as we paraded onto the Menzies Park carrying our Faction Banners last Friday for the Year 5 and 6 Athletics Carnival. There was a lot of hope and a little bit of confidence among the competitors when Mrs Rock announced our Faction. We loved the dance offs with music and encouragement from Mrs Rock and the teachers led the way with some cool dance moves!

Thank you to Mrs Kenny and Mrs Putt and all the parents who helped set up and baked cupcakes to make the day so special for us! Thanks also to Tim Putt for coming along to be a judge.

It was a great atmosphere with the sun shining and all the parents cheering us on, making such great memories in our last year at Mount Hawthorn.
