Semester 2
The competition for Year 6 leadership roles for Semester 2 was very tough. Many students presented very convincing, entertaining and heartfelt speeches to their peers and teachers. The results of the voting have given the school a new group of very capable and responsible students to continue leading the school in a positive direction.
The staff and students would like to thank our Semester 1 Student leaders for their hard work and commitment to the school in their leadership roles. We know we can always rely on these students to support the new leaders and continue to demonstrate the School’s Values and Virtues.

We have several Faction Carnivals scheduled for this term, starting with the Year 1 and 2 Carnival on Friday 6 August at 8.30am – 12.30pm followed by the Year 3 and Year 4 Carnival Thursday 19 August on the school oval and the Year 5 and 6 Carnival on Friday 3 September at Menzies Oval from 8.30am – 12.30pm.
*Please Note – Students who are not directly involved in each carnival event are expected to attend school and engage in the teaching and learning program designed and delivered by their classroom teacher. Parents need to be aware that if students are notified as absent and attend the carnival under parent supervision as a spectator, they will be considered an unauthorised absence. Most classes will visit and view the various carnivals and get to see siblings in action.
