P&C Celebrations 2019

The P&C are very proud to support the School, the Teachers and the school community.
Your P&C have contributed 4,096 hours of volunteer time, or a whopping 100 hours per school week hours during the year.
We thank all of our committee members and volunteers from the bottom of our hearts, we could not do it without all of you!
During a very busy and successful 2019, your P&C has contributed the following to your school programs and school grounds:

  •  Pre-primary Nature-scape Playground
  • Curriculum support of $25,000 (Mathletics, library books, reading books and art consumables)
  • Kiss and Ride planning/construction and funding (funded by 2018 lap-athon)
  • Margaret Kindy Play equipment and grounds upgrade (funded by obstacle-athon)
  • Grounds and gardens busy bee in conjunction with the Grounds Committee, including purchase and install of new planter boxes for the Pre-primary area
  • Annual contribution of $10,000 to support the school in caring for the school oval
  • Parent seminar on cyber safety run by Ysafe
  • “Friendly Schools” Parent Workshop by Erin Erceg to parents on anti-bullying and social skills for kids
  • Contributed $2,000 towards the new faction sports marquees purchased by the school for the sports carnival
  • Committed funding of $30,000 towards the new outdoor classroom
  • Contributed half to fund the WES Mural in the canteen/undercover area


Congratulations to our uniform shop volunteers who have been recognised with a Board Commendation for all their efforts. These volunteers are truly amazing and we wouldn’t have a uniform shop without them. Thank you Tehani, Karen, Mary, Emma and Sally.


Save the date – our annual welcome sundowner will be held on Friday 21 February 2020 (Week 1) and we look forward to welcoming new families and catching up with everyone in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
