The Year 6 Graduation was a huge success and I really appreciate the efforts of the whole Year 6 team. Our Year 6 students have led our school with distinction over the course of the year, and next week will celebrate their last week at Mount Hawthorn Primary School. They are well prepared for high school and we thank them for their leadership.
I would also like to acknowledge the families who are leaving us. Many of these parents have made significant contributions to our school and we wish them all the best. I am looking forward to seeing them all at the school fair next year.
The Annual Report for 2019 will be sent home with students next week. It provides a great representation of the many events, activities and learning that occurs at our school throughout the school year. In Term 1 2020, the school financials and achievement against the schools targets will be added and will be uploaded to the school website.
Semester 2 Student Reports will be emailed next week with a link in the email, please be aware that you need to download the report and save it, as the link will expire after a period of time. *NB – Please ensure the school has your current email address on record.

The Elves have arrived in Room 4! After designing, planning and researching ”Elf On The Shelf”, Year 1 students with their Room 31 buddies, have created the most gorgeous little elves for the festive season. Buddies used their STEAM brains to talk to their little buddy about what materials they could use and suggested ways to attach and make parts so the elves would fit on a shelf.
Big buddies then responded with designing and making a sleigh for the elf. Buddies is such an integral part of our school and one that is thoroughly enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to Mrs Kiddle and her Room 31, Year 4 team for making Room 4 feel so special this year.
