Please see above pictures of all the exciting activities during the week at school. I wish everyone a wonderful summer break, enjoy plenty of family time and activities with your children and we look forward to doing it all again in 2020!
I would like to acknowledge and thank the teachers who are leaving us this year, Carmel Reilly, Jayden Carr and Rachel Jack and wish them all the best for their future.
There is plenty planned for 2020 in terms of construction and finally the Kiss and Ride area should be up and running for next year. All this work is due to the assistance from our hardworking P&C. We have just received word that we have been successful in obtaining a $10,000 grant and I would like to thank Natalie D’Abrew for applying for this and many other grants during the year. To see all the P&C Celebrations for 2019 visit our website.
To all the people who make Mount Hawthorn such a special community, we THANK YOU! Students return to school on Monday 3 February 2020 for the start of the new school year (Kindy Yellow starts Tuesday).
Booklist collection is open on 29 January from 8.00am until 9.30am in the undercover area and the uniform shop will also be open.
CLASS LISTS 2020
Class placements for 2020 will be published on the school website in late January with password protection (the password will be sent out via 2019 Liaison Parents and FlexiBuzz). There will be a staggered release for each year group to avoid crashing the website. All updates about this process will be published on the front page of the school website so please keep checking in!
Edudance is always a highlight of the year. It is a celebration of many weeks of lessons and the many talents our students possess. Dance is a medium that reaches all and we are always pleased to see our friends from Early Intervention and the ESC join us in the performances. We would like to thank the community for attending and adapting to the hot weather changes, the Edudance teachers Carolyn, Julie and Bree and of course all the staff and students for a superb end of year event.
