What a hectic but fun few weeks it has been in Italian with all classes enthusiastically preparing scrumptious food, while at the same time expanding their Italian cooking vocabulary. Year 3-6 students made delicious Palline di Cioccolato (Chocolate Balls) while the Year 7 students made fettuccine from scratch, topped with a tasty sugo and parmigiano cheese. Some students were so keen to practise their newly acquired culinary skills that they delighted in preparing the recipes at home for their family. Students gained an insight into how food is an integral part of any Italian celebration and the thought and effort Italian people give to its preparation. All students are to be commended for their cooperation and excellent behaviour while working in small groups. A special grazie to our parent helpers who assisted in making the lessons run smoothly.
