New Local Intake Secondary School

As you would be aware, the State Government recently announced a new local intake secondary school, Inner City College (planning name), in Subiaco.

The local intake area for Inner City College is now available for you to view on the Department of Education’s website at education.wa.edu.au.

If your children are in Year 4 and below you will have the unique opportunity to be part of history and attend this new secondary school in the heart of Subiaco.

Opening for 250 Year 7 students in 2020, the school will grow to accommodate a total of 2000 Year 7 to 12 students by 2025.

Children will have access to a brand new school close to home with world class facilities and equipment to deliver an exciting and innovative education for 21st century learners.

The school will also offer a Gifted and Talented academic program, with the first intake of 32 students in Year 7 in 2020.

The announcement of the local intake area for Inner City College means local intake areas for Churchlands Senior High School, Shenton College and Mount Lawley Senior High School have been amended.

Families with children currently living in the existing local intake areas for Churchlands Senior High School, Shenton College and Mount Lawley Senior High School will have the choice for their children to attend either their current local intake school or the new Inner City College, if they are in the local intake area for the new school.
