Year 1 visit ANZAC Cottage

The year 1 children had a wonderful walk to ANZAC Cottage this week. Children learnt the importance of the ANZAC soldiers and were amazed at the charming Porter’s cottage which was built in a day back in 1915. Beautifully restored this local landmark is now a great place to visit and learn about olden day games, local history and our treasured ANZAC soldiers who fought in the war.

They are having a free wreath making workshop for children on ANZAC Day at 4.00pm.
